Some of the ways she showed her creativity were through founding the Mind Builder Early Group institution in 1985 which helped her obtain the Caribbean Youth of the Year award 1990 and working as a probation officer/child protection officer for the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis (1995-2002), a beautiful twin island federation in the Caribbean, where she grew up.
